This work, by Bosniak academician Zlatan Drljević, somber in its beauty, enraptures viewers’ empathy with the desolation of the mundane in post-war Sarajevo. Drljević, grew up with a front row seat for the impassioned debates that took place as the Balkan war developed amongst Bosnian icons like Goran Bregović, Džemal Bijedić, Josip Broz Tito's sons and legendary basketball player Mirza Delibašić in his father Sead's bar called Adams, one of Sarajevo's oldest 'kafić's'. Drljević graduated from The Sarajevo Academy of Fine Art and has participated in group shows and solo exhibitions.
