Ivan Rabuzin (1921–2008) was a celebrated Croatian painter known for his distinctive style within the naive art movement. Born in the village of Ključ, Croatia, Rabuzin initially worked as a carpenter before turning to painting in his mid-thirties. Despite having no formal art training, he quickly gained recognition for his unique approach, characterised by simple, stylised landscapes filled with vibrant, pastel colours and geometric forms. French art critic Anatole Jakovsky described him in 1972 as "one of the greatest naïve painters of all times and countries".
Rabuzin's work is often described as poetic and serene, capturing the idyllic beauty of the Croatian countryside. His paintings have been exhibited worldwide, earning him international acclaim. Besides his art, Rabuzin also served as a member of the Croatian Parliament in the 1990s, showcasing his dedication to both culture and public service. Today, he is remembered as one of the most prominent figures in Croatian naive art, with his works held in numerous private and public collections globally.
