We were delighted to come across this gem on a recent visit to an independent gallery to the city of Bečej, diamond in the rough. A jazzy piece of work from the era of Yugoslavia that succeeded a break from Stalinist Socialist-Realism and empowered Yugoslavian artists to pursue their own truth through their work.
